Molly Jones, Head Women's Basketball Coach

Former Hanover athlete Molly Jones is in her ninth season as the Panthers’ basketball coach. Jones guided Hanover to a 13-12 record in her first season with the Panthers. She followed that with back-to-back 17-win campaigns, which match the school’s record for single-season victories.

In addition to the team’s success, Jones has also guided 16 all-conference selections. Among that group was Jennifer Skaggs, a two-time Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference most valuable player and the leading scorer in Hanover basketball history.

A 1986 Hanover College graduate, Jones returned to her alma mater after 11 years as women's basketball and volleyball coach at Marian College in Indianapolis.

While a student at Hanover, she earned three letters as a basketball player and also lettered in volleyball and softball. She was named the outstanding senior female athlete in 1986.

A 1982 Southwestern High School graduate, Jones participated in basketball, volleyball and track & field for the Rebels.

John Jones

John Jones is in his seventh season as an assistant coach for the Panthers.

A former player at Marian College, Jones has collected more than 10 years experience as a teacher, coach and administrator at the secondary level. Prior to joining the Hanover athletic department staff, he served three years as athletic director at Southwestern High School in Hanover.

Jones, who was graduated from Marian in 1991, has a dual role at Hanover. He also serves as assistant athletic director.
